Q. What is the turn around time?
A. All of our turn around times vary according to the product.
- Shutters take approximately 8-10 weeks.
- Blinds take approximately 5-7 business days.
- Draperies take approximately 4-6 weeks.
- Vinyl Arches take approximately 5 business days.
- Custom wood arches take approximately 6 weeks.
- Woven woods take approximately 10 business days.
- Shades such as vignettes, silhouettes, roman shades, and honeycombs take approximately 7 business days. These turn around times are only approximate figures, and are subject to change without notice at anytime due to a back-up in product, or a shipment of parts. We can not guarantee a date of any custom-made products. Windows of Opportunity does its best to get your product to you as soon as possible.
Q. How long have you been in business?
A. Windows of Opportunity has been serving customers since 1998.
Q. Do you do repairs?
A. Yes. We will do our best to fix any window treatment at little cost. Bring the product into the showroom so that we can see what needs to be fixed. We will then get back to you with the price. The turn around time on repairs depends on the damage and the quantity, but on average it takes anywhere from a week to a week and a half.
Q. Do you give free estimates?
A. Yes. You can call and set up an appointment or come into the showroom at anytime during business hours. If you set up an appointment, a design consultant can go out to your house and show you any products of your choice at your convenience. They will either e-mail or fax you the estimate.
Q. How is payment done?
A. We require a 50% deposit, and the remaining balance does not have to be paid until after the install is complete. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.
Q. Can I provide you with my own measurements?
A. Yes, but if there is a mistake in the measurements, or the product does not fit, the customer is responsible for cost of making another treatment. We provide free measurements to prevent this from happening.
Q. Can I use my own material?
A. Windows of Opportunity is one of the very few drapery manufacturers that will use the customer's own material.
Q. Can I come in without an appointment?
A. Customers are always welcome to come to the showroom.
Q. How soon can I get an appointment?
A. Most of the time we can do it within the next day, or to accommodate the customer's schedule.

Q. Can I install the product myself?
A. Yes, however, on some products the warranty is waived if a professional installer does not do the install.
Q. How do your prices compare to other companies?
A. Windows of Opportunity's prices are very competitive compared to other companies. Having a wide range of products helps us meet the customer's budgets.
Q. Will you match anybody's prices?
A. Windows of Opportunity will take this into consideration. We require that the customer provides us with an official documentation of the competitors pricing. After reviewing the documentation, we will be able to decide if we can match the price.
